Little Mr. Sam is not nursing well yet, so I'm having to do a lot of pumping of breast milk. This requires the use of a giant hospital-grade pump that looks somewhat like a car battery. Attached to it are two nifty funnels that I attach to my breasts, and the milk goes from them into bottles. As you can imagine, such a neat gadget is just fabulously exciting to a three-year-old. And so, Theo quizzed me quite a bit the first time he saw me using the pump. After I had explained it to his satisfaction, he announced happily, "When I grow up, I will use a breast pump, too!"
Um...I'll be interested to see the results, man....
